A Songwriter's Journey

Our daughter’s friend had two tickets to the taping of ABC TV’s #CMACountry Christmas show and we were fortunate to be able to go! Though it took four hours to tape the show, it was fascinating seeing how each song was shot or needed to be done a second time. Hosted again by Jennifer Nettles, the guests were LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, The Pentatonix, Lindsey Sterling, Bryan Setzer, Charles Kelley, Kelsey Ballerini, Mickey Guyton, Michael W. Smith, Jewel and Martina McBride. A moving medley of traditional carols by Leann Rimes was my favorite performance of the night!
The show airs December 3rd on ABC – I can’t wait to see the final product!
Though it is early November if definitely got me in the Christmas mood! Thought I would share my version of “Joy To The World” from my 2011 Christmas Memory CD! Merry Christmas!! (early) 🙂
